Who Is Yeshua?

Yeshua is the Messiah spoken of in the Old Testament, who would come to redeem His people from their sins and restore them To God, and then rule over them in the Kingdom of God forever and ever.

His Identity

The scriptures show that the Messiah would be more than an ordinary man. That the redeemer would be from eternity. (Micah 5:2), that He would be the son of David but be greater than David, that he would be the Lord God Himself. (Psalm 110:1), That he would be born of a virgin. (Isaiah 7:14; Psalm 2:7) and be called Immanuel - God with us.

His work of Redemption

The scriptures show that the Messiah would bear our sins and the wrath of God in our stead. That God would lay on Him our iniquity and that He would die in our stead to reconcile us to God. (Isaiah 53). The scriptures show that the Messiah would cleanse us from our sins and establish a New Covenant with us. (Ezekiel 36:25-27; Jeremiah 31:31-34) and that He would be our righteousness (Jeremiah 23:5-6)

His resurrection from the dead

The Scriptures show that the Messiah would rise from the dead (Psalm 16:10; 2 Sam 7:12–16) and that one day He will abolish death altogether. (Hosea 13:14; Isaiah 25:8)

His Coming back and Restoration of all things

The scriptures show that the Messiah would one day rule over the earth and His nation as He sits on the throne of His father, David. (2Sam 7:12-16; Isaiah 9:6-7)

His offer to you

“No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so, must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” - John 3:13-21
